Step-by-step Directions

  • When cooking on the Stovetop, get a soup pot and heat the olive oil, then pop the ground beef into it to brown over medium-high heat for around 10 minutes until the meat is no longer pink.
  • After around 10 minutes, or once the meat has browned, add your garlic, onions, celery, and carrots to the pot and cook for another 5 minutes.
  • Once 5 minutes have passed, add the tomatoes, spices, broth, and frozen vegetables.
  • With all these ingredients in the pot, bring the pot to a boil for 5 minutes, and then add in your raw elbow macaroni. Now, reduce the heat to a low simmer, and let the soup cook for 10–15 minutes until your pasta has cooked all the way through.
  • Once the pasta has cooked, remove the Bay leaves and dish it up!
